Our limited production Red Blend has one goal: EXPERIMENT. Since we first bottled in 2009, the blend has never been repeated … and it never will be. The Red Blend is identified at crush time by the ubiquitous blue tape cellar rats and interns use to mark bins, barrels, and tanks, in this case Mastro Scheidt Red Blend Sonoma County or MS-RW-SC-. This wine is our place to try new things – co-fermentations, wild yeast, new oak regiments, new varietal blends. There are no rules here, except we try to make something you’re going to love.
